By using chemicals:

Some chemicals are harmful to our body and hence should not be used in places near the bed or places where your pets lie down and inhale the air, like carpets.  Before applying the chemicals, you will have to check whether the spray will have any effect on our body. For example, bed bugs can be stopped by applying DDT powder. DDT powder is a known insecticide, its primary function is to kill all types of bacteria including bed bugs. DDT is harmful when inhaled hence it should not be applied on places near your bed or your floor carpet since it might be inhaled by toddlers in home or by pets. In such cases, using insecticides which are not harmful to our body can be used. For example, bed bug spray called ‘Bed bug bully’ or Diatomaceous earth.

Harmless chemicals for eliminating bed bugs:

Harmless chemicals are really helpful in eliminating bed bugs from places such as beds or carpets. Here we will discuss two commonly used chemicals.

Diatomaceous earth:

Diatomaceous earth or silica powder are commonly used for killing all types of insects. These two products contain fine sand like particles with abrasive surfaces.
